03 APRIL 1984, FARMING COMMUNITY NEAR HERAT:

Trying to establish connections with the uneasy local population in the Herat province, Soviet command arranged a meeting with clan leaders in a farmland village. Soviet infantry were forming a perimeter around the village while heavy weapons over-watching the area. Suddenly a strong mujahideen group appeared on the hills and attacked the Soviet troops.  Download.
